Bible Backgrounds: Studying and Interpreting the Bible

This class will help students to learn more about the world in which the Bible was written. Students will develop the skills necessary to understand and teach the Bible more accurately––an especially useful class for those interested in teaching in one-on-one, small group, or classroom settings.

Lead Like Jesus: Principles for Christian Leadership

led by
Pastor Cook and Jim Gregoire

This class will help students to discover the principles of leadership exemplified in the life of Jesus. Students will grow in competence and gain confidence in their ability to lead others–an especially useful class for those who are considering being in leadership positions (e.g. small group leader, deacon, elder).

Helping those Who Hurt

Women’s class led by Deb Peets

This class will help students to discover important approaches to helping those who have been experiencing trauma or deep hurt in their lives. Students will become more empathetic and discover how to be a better encouragement to others–an especially useful class for counselors and others who are seeking to help people that are experiencing personal turmoil.

Making, Molding, and Multiplying Disciples of Jesus

led by Pastor Tim and Mark Haynes

This class will help students to understand what it really means to be a disciple (follower) of Jesus and how to help bring others to know and follow Jesus–an especially useful class for a new attender at Develop classes and for those who would like to improve in helping others to follow Jesus.
